SUPPORT
Get Involved
There are many ways that you can get involved with RCEF.
Advisory Board
We’d love your help by being on the RCEF Advisory Board. Our members help in various ways:
-
Provide feedback and subject matter expertise
-
Being a knowledgeable resource for info about RCEF for the school community
-
Help get RCEF info into school communications (E-News, marquee, etc.)
-
Attend school meetings and events to keep RCEF informed or to represent RCEF
Whether you can do a lot or a little, every set of hands will help. Being an RCSD parent is not required.

Board of Directors
Our team is dedicated to improving the academic performance of underserved students in the Redwood City School District. We support schools with the highest proportion of low-income students by funding programs that improve reading and math scores and strengthen student engagement and social-emotional learning.
Members of the RCEF Board of Directors are volunteers who use their personal and professional resources and expertise to:
-
Support fundraising campaigns
-
Build community relationships
-
Connect families and students with community resources
-
Guide the organization’s strategic direction
As an organization committed to equity, we seek prospective board members who critically examine the public school system and ways to improve it. Being an RCSD parent is not required. We ask prospective board members to join the advisory board or a working committee prior to applying for the Board of Directors.

Host an Event for RCEF
Bring your loved ones together for a good cause by organizing a dinner party, game night, or fundraiser to support the Redwood City Education Foundation. By doing so, you can help our wider community learn more about the RCEF's mission, programs, and impact.
